To my listeners,
I hope you’ve been well. It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, and I wanted to check in.
You’ve already heard the first single, SAY LESS. It’s a glimpse into my childhood, describing what I heard, felt, and told myself, and maybe the root of what made me want to be an entertainer in the first place.
That exploration is at the heart of my next project: DECEIVER. It’s my attempt to make sense of my life right now: to be honest about the doubts, the second guessing, and my arrogance, while also showing you how I’ve grown as a producer, writer, and musician.
I’m writing this letter because I’ve felt your support, and I’m overwhelmed by the encouragement I’ve received. What keeps me grounded is remembering that music is, at its core, personal. If even one moment of my music makes you move or feel moved, that’s the most special experience I could hope to create.
Best,
Jhung
